I firmly believe that a kimono is far more than just a garment; it's a powerful link to centuries of rich Japanese culture and heritage. My mission is to celebrate and honor the profound beauty of the kimono, recognizing it not merely as a fashion statement but as a vessel that encapsulates the very essence of Japan itself.

As the founder of Kimono Suishin, I am not only a certified kimono dressing consultant but also a passionate advocate for preserving and sharing the deep cultural significance embedded within these timeless garments. My journey began at a tender age when I was captivated by a yukata (summer kimono) and refused to part with it. Decades later, I rediscovered my love for kimono, immersing myself in the Los Angeles Kimono Club, partaking in kimono dressing classes, and attending numerous kimono runway shows with my family.

Today, as a dedicated member of the Kimono Culture Research Institute, I continue to delve into the history, materials, and occasions associated with kimono. My expertise and profound respect for Japanese tradition are at the heart of Kimono Suishin.
